Description

Construction of a new two-track rail bridge over the street Römerallee. The abutments were constructed with the protection of two auxiliary bridges (total length 54.0 m) under operating rail traffic. The span is 25,0m and 23,0m. The bridge is made of prefabricated PREFLEX® beams, comprising of pre-stressed welded girders with concrete footing built on a traversing frame and slid into position during a weekend rail traffic stoppage.

Contribution

Preliminary design to preparation of contract award. Preparing documentation for an application under the Communal Traffic Financing Act. Assisting in preparing agreements for intersections and execution of construction. Coordination of safety measures in compliance with local regulations.
